Energi Print uses the advanced file preparation and workflow systems Artpro and Nexus to process your files. These systems are PDF based, therefore we require that you supply high resolution PDF files rather than native files.

Supplying PDF files will ensure the most efficient and timely processing of your job by minimising operator intervention as well as preventing missing image and font issues.

Please ensure that your PDF files:

• are PDF 1.3 (Acrobat 4.0 compatible)
• have all fonts embedded
• do not have RGB images
• include high resolution data (e.g. 300 dpi)
• are CMYK composite PDFs, not separated
• include spot colours only if needed
• are single pages not spreads
• have trim marks and 3mm bleed
• are accompanied by colour printouts or mock up
• if you want to use a rich black, use (100%K, 50%C, 40%M, 20%Y)

   You can use the “press” job options in Acrobat Distiller.

We can also set up FTP access for electronic file transfer of your PDFs if required.
